Resistance to Pseudomonas solanacearum in Lycopersicon esculentum

Resistance to Pseudomonas solanacearum in Lycopersicon esculentum

Dissertation Abstracts International, B 36(2): 517B-518B

Plants with a high degree of resistance were selected from PI126408. These plants never produced progenies with 100% survival in inoculation tests. Segregation ratios in the F2 of resistant 126408 plants crossed to Bonny Best or Floradel suggested that resistance was polygenically inherited and reciprocal crosses showed that extrachromosomal inheritance was not involved.
