Resistance to Septoria black stem of oats

Resistance to Septoria black stem of oats

Proceedings of the American Phytopathological Society 2: 49

Seedlings of wild-oat species from the Middle East were shown to have moderate resistance to Septoria avenae (Leptosphaeria avenaria). A method in which plants are inoculated at leaf stages 3-4 and maintained in 100% relative humidity for 24-36 h every 7-10 days over a six-week period was used to screen for resistance.
