Resistance to bruising in some potato cultivars

Resistance to bruising in some potato cultivars

Frutticoltura 40(3/4): 57-59

Differences in the percentage of tubers affected by tissue browning caused by artificial bruising were seen between 20 varieties, relatively low percentages being observed in Draga, Rosanna, Exodus, Estima and Vivaks. Depth of damage differed between the varieties, ranging from about 2 mm in Draga to more than 11 mm in Primavera and Kennebec.
