Resistance to disease of pigs given different rations

Veterinariya, Moscow, USSR (6): 35-38

Tables show the lysozyme and bactericidal activities of the blood serum and phagocytic activity and index of the neutrophils at 30, 60, 90 and 105 days of pregnancy and at 30 and 60 days after farrowing in sows in their first and second pregnancies when fed different levels of digestible protein above and below the norm and in their one-month-old piglets.
