Resistant levels of houseflies to six kinds of synthetic insecticides in the Philippines

Resistant levels of houseflies to six kinds of synthetic insecticides in the Philippines

Southeast Asian Journal of Tropical Medicine and Public Health 8(4): 515-518

Houseflies were collected at 15 sites in the Philippines and tested in the laboratory in Japan for resistance to DDT, pyrethrins, malathion, fenitrothion (Sumithion), fenthion (Baytex) and dichlorvos (DDVP). The LD50's calculated 24 h after topical application are given; they are compared with those for the Takatsuki strain from Japan, which was taken as the standard.
