Resource productivity on grade A dairy farms in the Twin Cities milk marketing area

Resource productivity on grade A dairy farms in the Twin Cities milk marketing area

Dissertation Abstracts International, A 38(3): 1542-1543

The objective of this study was to investigate (using sample derived production functions) resource productivity-factor price relationships in 1970 for 30-99 cow Grade A dairy farms producing milk for the Twin Cities marketing order. Analysis of these relationships for a sample of 121 dairy farmers provides insight into resource mix adjustments that likely would have improved resource use efficiency and returns in 1970.
