Respiration was studied in hybrids and their parents during the winter. The greatest oxygen consumption and carbon dioxide production were observed in Bol X Amfidiploid 10 spel'toidnaya barbarossa (Amphidiploid 10 Speltoid Barbarossa) and Bol X Sevindzh At the tillering stage, some hybrids had a higher respiration rate than their parents, viz.
