Respiration determinations with labelled C: the specific effect of pesticides on the biological activity of soils under beet

Respiration determinations with labelled C: the specific effect of pesticides on the biological activity of soils under beet

Annali di Microbiologia ed Enzimologia 24: 57-62

The effects of minimum and maximum rates of diallate, cycloate, pyrazon, lenacyl, phenmedipham, heptachlor, aldrin and prophos on 14CO2 release in the laboratory from soil to which labelled dl-glutamic acid had been added are tabulated for July-December. Minimum rates did not inhibit total 14CO2 release by more than 10%.
