Respiratory and circulatory responses to electrical brain stimulation were studied in 30 anaesthetized fowls from about 850 histologically verified loci in an attempt to delineate the thalamic cardoinhibitory area, and to study respiratory and circulatory functions of the telecephalon and mesencephalon.
