Response and economics of nitrogen application in dwarf wheat varieties

Response and economics of nitrogen application in dwarf wheat varieties

Science and Culture 41(12): 584-586

In trials with 3 dwarf wheat cultivars, application of 40, 80, 120, 160 and 200 kg N/ha increased average grain yields from 1.25 t/ha without N by 0.9, 1.65, 2.59, 2.95 and 3.12 t/ha, respectively; grain production/kg N was 22.5, 20.6, 21.5, 18.4 and 15.6 kg, respectively.
