Response of 2 varieties of sorghum to pre- and post-emergence herbicides

On a clay soil, the following herbicide treatments were applied to sorghum: atrazine in various formulations at 2.5 kg ha both pre- and early post-em., A 3620 (terbuthylazine 25% + terbutryne 25%) at 2.5 kg/ha pre-em., Gesaprim Combi 50 (terbutryne + atrazine) at 2.5 kg/ha pre-em., 2,4-D at 0.48 kg/ha post-em. and Lorox (linuron) as a spot treatment at 1.5 kg/ha. Only the linuron treatment caused slight injury to sorghum.
