Response of celery to ozone

Response of celery to ozone

HortScience 12(4, I): 321-322

Plants of eight varieties exposed to ozone in controlled-environment chambers showed comparable injury symptoms to plants grown in fields in areas subject to frequent oxidant smogs. Tendercrisp was the most sensitive variety tested both in the laboratory and the field.
