Tennessee Farm and Home Science (97): 16-17



In field trials in Humphreys County, Tennessee in 1975, 18 commercial maize hybrids recommended for production in Tennessee and 4 hybrids that performed well in State Yield Trials were sown on 21 May; the test area was uniformly infested with Johnson grass (Sorghum halepense ) in which maize dwarf mosaic virus and maize chlorotic dwarf virus had over-wintered.
