Response of direct seeded early maturing rice varieties to nitrogen application under puddled condition

In trials with 6 early-maturing rice cultivars given 0-160 kg N/ha, increases in N rates from 0 to 120 kg/ha increased average paddy yields from 4.31 to 5.77 t/ha.
