Response of dwarf and tall wheat cultivars to levels of nitrogen and their benefit-cost-ratio under Chotanagpur plateau condition of Bihar

Response of dwarf and tall wheat cultivars to levels of nitrogen and their benefit-cost-ratio under Chotanagpur plateau condition of Bihar

Indian Journal of Agronomy 18(3): 307-313

Under Bihar conditions (short and sharp winters) the dwarf variety Sonora-63 gave a linear response to N when applied at rates of up to 160 kg/ha. Yield of the tall variety NP798 decreased at N levels above 80 kg/ha.
