Response of dwarf pea mutants to gibberellin and natural growth inhibitors

Response of dwarf pea mutants to gibberellin and natural growth inhibitors

Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Biologicheskaya (4): 485-495

In laboratory and pot experiments, application of 0.005-50 mg GA/l increased growth of etiolated and green seedlings of tall pea Torsdag, monogenic dwarf mutants K-29 and K-511 and digenic dwarf mutants K-10 and K-202; the effects increased with increasing GA conc. and were more pronounced on dwarfer than taller genotypes. The growth suppression with ABA was greater in taller than in dwarfer genotypes.
