Response of growing chickens to an inactivated IBD antigen in oil emulsion

Response of growing chickens to an inactivated IBD antigen in oil emulsion

Veterinary Record 99(21): 418-418

With the aim of producing an antibody status in parent birds which would provide high levels of antibody in their chicks, a propiolactone-killed antigen was prepared from a virulent infectious bursal disease virus (53/70) and emulsified in liquid paraffin.
