Response of high-yielding paddy and wheat to nitrogen, phosphate and potash in an acidic soil

The responses of rice var. Jaya and wheat var. Sonalika to N, P and K was studied in the field on soil of pH 5.6. There was no interaction between N and K but the interaction between N and P was significant, being negative for rice, positive for wheat. Rice showed a negative response to K alone.
