Response of mixed cool-season turfgrasses to preemergent herbicides

Response of mixed cool-season turfgrasses to preemergent herbicides

Abstracts 1974 Meeting Weed Science Society of America: 20

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Bandane (polychlorodicyclopentadiene isomers), bensulide, chlorthal-dimethyl, siduron and terbucarb at standard, double and triple rates on a mixed stand of Kentucky bluegrass red fescue and colonial bentgrass under two levels of fertility. The herbicides were applied annually in the spring from 1967 to '73.
