In trials in 1971-2 with P. aureus increasing the P2O5 rates from 0 to 30 and 60 kg/ha increased average seed yields from 0.86 to 1 and 1.13 t/ha, resp. The economic opt. P2O5 rate was 51 kg/ha with a yield response of 475 kg seed/kg P2O5.
