Details are given of the foliar damage caused by chlorine, 8 days after its accidental nearby release, to a range of ornamental and other plants, including azaleas and rhododendrons, Malus spp., Lagerstroemia indica, hibiscus, dahlias, violets, peonies, maples, forsythia, chrysanthemums, holly, magnolias and tomatoes.
