Response of paddy varieties to fertilizer and its economics in Raichur district

In trials with 3 rice cultivars given 0-120 kg N, 0-60 kg P2O5 and 0-60 K2O/ha, application of 120 kg N + 60 kg P2O5 + 60 kg K2O/ha gave the highest paddy yields of 6.95 t/ha in IR8 and 5.93 t/ha in HR-35 in the kharif season and 7.43 t/ha in IR8 and 6.84 t/ha in Jaya in the rabi season.
