Response of range vegetation to grid placement and aerial application of karbutilate



Weed Science 26(2): 139-144



Karbutilate formulated as pellets 1.34 cm in diam. was applied to brush-infested rangeland at an average density of 4 pellets/12.4 m2 (1.83-m spacing) either by fixed-wing aircraft or in a grid pattern by hand. The level of control of woody plants with karbutilate pellets was the same, irrespective of the method of application.
