In trials in 1970-2 with rice Jaya given 180 kg N/ha in 3 split dressings, increasing the rates of applied P2O5 from 0 to 60 and 120 kg/ha increased average paddy yields from 1.63 to 4 and 4.86 t/ha, respectively. Yields were increased from 3.52 to 4.14 t/ha with increases in K2O rates from 0 to 60 kg/ha; 120 kg K2O/ha gave no additional yield.
