Response of rice to graded doses of phosphorus in conjunction with magnesium and spartin

In an investigation at the Central Rice Research Station, Pattambi, during four consecutive seasons, phosphate application resulted in increased yields from the second season onwards, while magnesium and spartin (containing Ca, Mg, S, Si, Fe, Mn, Cu, Zn, B and Mo) had no significant influence either on grain yield or in enhancing response to phosphate application.
