Response of several soybean cultivars to mefluidide

Proceedings North Central Weed Control Conference, 1977 (Vol. 32): 32

All 25 cvs. of soybeans tested in the glasshouse for their response to mefluidide at 0.44 kg/ha applied overall at the first-trifoliate leaf stage showed symptoms of injury. In a field screening, the addition of a wetter (0.5% WK) to mefluidide at 0.55 kg generally increased the injury sustained. The cvs. Chippewa 64, Beeson, Hark, Wirth and Williams were the most tolerant cvs. in the field test.
