Response of some sugar-beet cultivars to levels of nutrition

In trials under rain-fed conditions in Voronezh province, application of 80 kg N + 80 kg P2O5 + 120 kg K2O/ha to high-yielding cultivars of sugar beet and 160 kg N + 120 kg P2O5 + 160 kg K2O/ha to high-sugar cultivars gave the highest yields of roots and sugar.
