Response of sorghum (CSH-1 and Swarna) to varying levels of nitrogen and plant population



Indian Journal of Agronomy 17(1): 12-16



Sorghum hybrid CSH-1 gave significantly higher grain yield than variety Swarna. Nitrogen application up to 120 kg/ha increased the grain yield; higher rates had a depressing effect. An increase in plant population also increased the grain yield.
