In pot trials with soyabeans on medium black calcareous soil deficient in Zn, addition of 0.05 ppm Zn as ZnSO4 or Nu-Z (zinc oxy-sulphate complex) to the nutrient solution gave seed yields of 3.67 and 2.95 g/pot, respectively, compared with 0.24 g without Zn, and increased N, K and Zn contents in plant DM and seeds, but decreased P contents.
