Response of soybeans grown on silt loam soils to direct and residual phosphorus and potassium

In trials at 4 sites in E. Arkansas, soyabeans Lee, Lee 68 and Pickett were given annual broadcast applications of P or K at 0, 50, 100 or 200 lb/ac in the spring over a 2-year period. Plots also received annual applications of 0 or 4 lb P or K/ac banded by the row. The effects on soyabean yields were determined during the subsequent 3 years.
