Response of spring planted maize to irrigation and nitrogen rates

Response of spring planted maize to irrigation and nitrogen rates

Indian Journal of Agronomy 21(3): 298-300

Irrigating maize at the depletion of available soil moisture in the top 30-cm layer to 70, 55, 40 and 25% gave grain yields of 3.72, 3.33, 3.03 and 2.14 t/ha, respectively.
