In a trial comparing the effects of adding Fe to the nutrient solution as Fe-DTPA or Fe-EDDHA, each at 0.25 or 1.0 p.p.m., yields were highest (7.8 kg/plant) with either chelate at the higher rate and lowest (3.5 kg/plant) with Fe-DTPA at the lower rate.
