Abstract
Describes and summarizes the results of a study of the beneficial effects on the growth of Pinus elliottii, after 4 years, of various combinations of treatments (ploughing before planting, mowing, fertilizer treatment, irrigation, and brush control). Data are tabulated for seedling height in each of the four years and average d.b.h. in the fourth year; they show that height growth and diameter growth of P. elliottii can be greatly increased by intensive cultural management.
