Resupinate mycorrhizal Hymenomycetes in decomposed wood

Schweizerische Zeitschrift fur Pilzkunde 56(1): 9-14

In Switzerland, Poria terrestris forms mycorrhizae on the regeneration of fir spruce and larch occurring on large rotting trunks. Piloderma bicolor and P. byssinum are widespread on spruce. Amphinema byssoides associates with Pinus montana as well as spruce. Thelephora terrestris can spread on spruce or on Pinus strobus.
