Significance of bovine coronavirus infection

Preliminary results are reported from studies of coronavirus-like agents associated with neonatal calf diarrhoea. Isolates from Britain and Denmark resemble the US virus morphologically and antigenically. Three diagnostic tests for the infection are described: electron microscopy of intestinal contents or faeces, culture of the virus and immunofluorescence.
