Among 2322 Russian Black Pied cows, the CR to 1st insemination decreased from 73.08% for milk yields less than or equal to 2999 kg to 27.27% for yields of 8000-9000 kg. The correlation between lactation milk yield and calving interval was 0.33. The phenotypic and genetic correlations between 100-day milk yield and calving interval were 0.31 and 0.51 resp. The sire-component h2s of CR, service period, calving interval and pregnancy duration were 0.09, 0.10, 0.08 and 0.04 resp.
