Some observations on nitrogen depletion-repletion in adult wethers and ammonia concentration in the rumen on mixed rations

Some observations on nitrogen depletion-repletion in adult wethers and ammonia concentration in the rumen on mixed rations

Stencilserie, Avdelningen for Husdjurens Naringsfysiologi, Lantbrukshogskolan 32: 35

Adult crossbred wethers in 5 metabolism trials were fed initially for 20 to 30 days on diets with wheat straw and potato starch and/or pregelatinized maize starch to provide from 2.8 to 3.7 g N/sheep daily.
