Uspekhi khim mutageneza v selektsii: 157-171



A study was made of the content of chlorophyll a and b and carotenoids at different stages of growth in two erectoid mutants and a compactum mutant induced in Belaya Tserkov' 198. The water-retaining capacity of the leaf tissue was examined in one of the erectoids and the initial variety. In their physiological and biochemical characteristics, the mutants differed both from each other and from the initial variety.
