Studies on longevity and mortality of Dysdercus cingulatus (F.) treated with metepa (Hem., Pyrrhocoridae)

When adults of Dysdercus cingulatus (F.) were provided with food containing 0.1-1.0% metepa, the males lived for 2-3 days and females for 3-4 days, as compared with 9 and 7 days, respectively, for no treatment.
