Studies on the humus forms of forest soils. 2. The humus composition of fractionated horizons of Higashiyama soil

Studies on the humus forms of forest soils. 2. The humus composition of fractionated horizons of Higashiyama soil

Soil Science and Plant Nutrition 22(2): 149-158

The composition of the humus (Kumada's method) in samples from various layers of the Ao, H-A, and A horizons was determined and is tabulated as follows: contents of humic and fulvic acids, ratios of extractable to total humus and of humic acid to total humus, PQ and RF values, and humic acid type (Rp and B).
