Studies on the vegetative propagation of almond (Prunus amygdalus Batsch) on different rootstocks of Prunus

Almond scions, Nonpareil, were either budded in September or grafted in January onto 4 different rootstocks and their survival and growth were compared after 6 months. Grafting gave a higher percentage success than budding.
