Journal of Helminthology 50(4): 281-285

Lecithodendrium aegyptiacus n.sp. from the small intestine of Asellia tridens tridens and Rhinopoma hardwickei cystops in Egypt differs from all other species of the genus in having a distinctly lobed ovary, "indented or fairly lobed" testes, and a spinous tegument. L. duboisi n.sp. from the small intestine of Taphozous nudiventris nudiventris is characterized by the arrangement of the vitellaria in a continuous transverse band posterior to the testes.
