Study of the influence of different storage periods of seeds treated with one mutagen on the effect obtained after treatment with another mutagen

Study of the influence of different storage periods of seeds treated with one mutagen on the effect obtained after treatment with another mutagen

Tsitologiya i Genetika 10(1): 31-34

The results are presented of a study of the frequency of chromosome aberrations in seeds of Crepis capillaris and the cotton 9078I after treatment with 2.3 X 10-2 M ethyleneimine (EI) or 0.025% N-nitroso-N-methylurea (NMU), storage for various periods and then treatment with the other of the two mutagens. The natural level of aberrations was 0.45% in cotton and 0.108% in Crepis.
