Metacercariae of Pharyngostomum cordatum were found in the leg musculature and connective tissue of Rana nigromaculata, R. brevipoda and R. rugosa from Osaka Prefecture, Japan. The 2 first named are new intermediaries. Experimental infections succeeded in 2 cats, 2 kittens and a pup.
