The chemotherapy of rodent malaria, XXIV. The blood schizontocidal action of erythromycin upon Plasmodium berghei

The chemotherapy of rodent malaria, XXIV. The blood schizontocidal action of erythromycin upon Plasmodium berghei

Annals of Tropical Medicine and Parasitology 70(3): 253-258

Erythromycin was active against Plasmodium berghei in mice in non-toxic doses. Given subcutaneously the base was more effective than the stearate; given orally, the stearate was more effective than the base.
