The effect of environment on fertility in large herds of cattle

Zeszyty Problemowe Postepow Nauk Rolniczych (196): 197-203

Data were obtained on 2 Polish Black-and-White Lowland herds comprising 152 and 115 females. In the 1st herd, the cows were housed indoors throughout the year; in the 2nd herd, the cows were grazed for 6-8 h daily during the grazing season.
