The effect of gibberellin on changes in some characters in forms of barley differing in habit

The effect of gibberellin on changes in some characters in forms of barley differing in habit

Vestnik Leningradskogo Universiteta, Biologiya (4): 138-146

The dwarf variety Kodama and the normal Viner were treated with various concentrations at the two and three-leaf stages. As a result, plant height increased 70% in Viner and 60% in Kodama. The length of the internodes increased in Viner, but was not affected in Kodama. A greater increase in leaf length was observed in Kodama than Viner.
