The effect of organic matter on the mobility of iron and manganese under different moisture levels

The effect of organic matter on the mobility of iron and manganese under different moisture levels

Beitrage zur Tropischen Landwirtschaft und Veterinarmedizin 14(3): 277-282

During the incubation of six acid soils at 60% of water-holding capacity and in the presence of 0-4% of added organic matter, the content of reducible Fe increased from the first 10 to the first 20 days and then decreased in the next 20 days. The content of active Mn was maximal after incubation for 20 days.
