, : The effect of storage on growth and yield of ginger (Zingiber officinale Rescoe). Acta Horticulturae (53): 337-340

Storage of seed pieces for 0, 21, 35 and 42 days showed that the number of days to germination decreased with the length of storage while percentage germination and yield of fresh rhizomes increased. However, germination and yield were consistently lower after 35 days' storage than after 21 days.
