The inheritance of protein and lysine content in the grain of wheat in interspecific crosses

In F1 hybrids obtained by crossing the Georgian bread wheats Dolis puri 35-4, Tetri ipkli, Tsiteli ipkli and Khulugo with Triticum durum 'Coerulescens 19/28' and T. turgidum var. striatum, overdominance was observed for protein content and either overdominance or intermediate inheritance for lysine content.
